The mission of Arnold Oil Company of Austin, L.P. is to be a leading supplier of quality automotive products and services at competitive prices in all phases of the market in which we participate, to grow our business by increasing market share and existing customer sales, and, through acquisitions of complementing businesses, to further increase our level of supply and services while differentiating ourselves from our competition with the quality of our employees, dedication to our customers, superior service, advanced technology, and service to our community.

Our History
In 1939, Mamie and Gene Arnold founded the original Arnold Oil Company in Corpus Christi, Texas. Soon after graduating from Baylor University in 1976, Jim Arnold realized the need to open his own facility. He opened the doors to Arnold Oil Company in Austin with one other employee, two vehicles, and minimal inventory in 1977. Now, four generations later, both of Jim's children are actively involved in the business.
During the difficult economic time of the 1980's, Jim began acquiring struggling independent auto parts stores and successfully turned them around, as well as adding an automotive equipment division. He knew that Arnold Oil's destiny lied in his customers' successes, which meant continually finding solutions that led to customers' profitable growth. We expanded our product lines and service territories, eventually growing to more than 30 locations across Central and South Texas.
Because Arnold Oil is dependent on the sustainability of vendors, customers and industry partners, Jim's commitment to quality throughout the industry led him to chair and actively serve on many industry partner and vendor councils to ensure the best service and products could be provided to Arnold Oil Company's customers. Jim continues to be involved in their decision-making processes while always looking to gain knowledge of different ways to possibly give better solutions to problems industry-wide.
Arnold Oil staffs the most knowledgeable and motivated people in the industry. Our goal is to help train and assist our customers so that they are able to run efficient and profitable businesses. Our company encourages self-improvement through education and training programs that help each individual grow to their potential.
A dedication to community service is the source of a long list of involvement on our part. Arnold Oil Company has supported hundreds of organizations and projects throughout the years and continues that community commitment with great pride.
